Our story
WLA Skin & Co was born long before it became a skincare brand — it began with a single formulation, Clarité, created to heal skin that nothing else could.
The Knowledge- Losing Confidence, Learning Skin
In 2023, I met him during a pause in my career, after stepping away from my role as a trainee solicitor and my path towards qualifying for the Bar of England and Wales. What followed was a relationship that slowly eroded my confidence. I loved deeply and dedicated myself fully, including committing my time and energy to building his vision of a revolutionary eczema treatment.
It was within that relationship that skincare became serious and disciplined. Working closely on formulations to manage eczema, I learned how skin behaves under stress and how restraint, precision, and respect for the barrier matter more than force. When the relationship ended, the company never launched. I walked away with heartbreak, but also with knowledge.
The Creation- Healing & Love
In 2024, I met my husband, a relationship defined by stability, kindness, and mutual care. He was battling severe acne that no product on the market could resolve. Creams failed. Treatments failed. Even medication offered little relief. His confidence suffered quietly.
I returned to formulation with clarity and intention, recreating and refining what I had once learned. By working with the skin rather than against it, balance slowly returned. What began as personal care became something more, proof that healing is possible when skin is understood. I felt empowered and grateful, like I finally reached clarity. And this is how Clarité came to life.
The WLA Skin&Co. - From Formula to Foundation
In 2025, Clarité was born. The formulation that healed my husband’s skin became the foundation of WLA Skin & Co. As its results proved consistent and repeatable, the decision to build a brand became inevitable.
Today, as I complete my journey to the Bar of England and Wales and prepare to launch WLA Skin & Co on the 1st of February, the brand reflects everything it was built from: discipline, empathy, and precision.
